Qualifications

  • 10+ years proven experience in a wide variety of creative idioms/mediums, especially musical theater, with a strong producing background.
  • Experience leading creative teams and navigating production challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level leadership, driving creative direction and building high-performing teams.
  • Oversee development of titles from formation through opening productions and reimagining legacy works.
  • Lead script and score development sessions and build consensus within the creative team.
  • Lead design sessions and contribute to esthetic direction, routing misalignments effectively.
  • Accountable for large production budgets and budgets' ongoing development.
  • Develop new forms of live entertainment and partner with TWDC units.
  • Escalation point for complex production issues, maintaining calm and structured leadership.
  • Maintain strong internal communication cadence to minimize surprises.
  • Build and mentor Producers who can lead their own projects and teams.
  • Uphold accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
