Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking a Vice President of Operations to design and run the company's operational system across construction, service, and project management. You will replace informal decision-making with accountable, documented processes and measurable performance.

You will lead an operations team, enforce standardized practices, protect margins, and ensure disciplined project kickoff, execution, and closeout while aligning capacity with workload and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of operations leadership experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, or construction industry experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing operations through metrics and systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive operational performance and margins across construction, service, and project management.
• Enforce standardized execution practices and prevent margin erosion.
• Lead the Operations Management Team and define roles for direct reports.
• Ensure disciplined project kickoff, execution, and closeout.
• Plan capacity and coordinate between project management and field execution.
• Develop and enforce SOPs and operational standard work.
