Job summary

Priority One Credit Union seeks an executive leader to oversee daily operations, marketing strategies, and compliance, aligning with organizational goals to drive growth and performance. Reporting to the Senior Executive, this role supervises the Director of Operations and the Manager of Marketing and Business Development, guiding strategic plans and ensuring operational excellence.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, member experience, risk management, and cross-department collaboration

Qualifications

• Minimum of five to seven years of progressive leadership experience within a financial institution, preferably within a credit union.
• Three years of executive or senior leadership overseeing multiple operational areas.
• Proven experience leading branch operations and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state banking regulations, including DFPI and NCUA, BSA/AML.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence employees at all levels.
• Experience in marketing and business development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily branch operations and regulatory compliance.
• Guides development and execution of Operations, Marketing, and Business Development strategies.
• Monitors performance metrics to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Prepares and manages departmental budgets in partnership with leadership.
• Leads recruitment, coaching, and talent development of senior staff.
• Represents the Credit Union on committees and community activities.
• Ensures member experience aligns with brand and strategic goals.
• Collaborates across departments to drive growth and risk management.
