Job summary

Rev is seeking a Vice President of Operations to drive group-wide operational performance for a high-customization manufacturing environment focused on ambulance and fire apparatus vehicles.

You will partner with engineering, supply chain, and plant leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while complying with industry standards. This role emphasizes real-time KPI visibility, disciplined execution, and scalable processes across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 12-15+ years of leadership experience in specialty vehicle, fire apparatus, ambulance, or similar build-to-order manufacturing.
• Proven track record delivering quantifiable improvements in cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Experience managing operations in highly customized, compliance-driven production environments.
• Strong background in KPI systems, performance management, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a KPI-driven operating system with real-time dashboards across programs, functions, and sites.
• Improve on-time delivery, cycle time, cost per unit, and margin performance.
• Drive root cause problem-solving to close performance gaps and stabilize production schedules.
• Align engineering, supply chain, and operations around shared KPIs and program milestones.
• Support new apparatus launches and customer-specific configurations with production readiness and smooth handoffs.
• Strengthen quality systems to reduce defects and improve inspection outcomes.
