Job summary

REV Group is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead group-wide operational performance for a portfolio of ambulance and fire apparatus manufacturers. This role will partner with engineering, supply chain, and plant leadership to ensure vehicles are delivered on time, on budget, and in full compliance with industry standards.

Manufacturing plants do not report into this role, requiring strong cross-functional alignment and influence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
MBA preferred.
12–15+ years leadership in specialty vehicle or build-to-order manufacturing.
Proven track record delivering improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
Experience in customized, compliance-driven production environments.
Strong KPI and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead KPI-driven operating system with real-time dashboards across programs, functions, and sites.
Improve on-time delivery, cycle time, cost per unit, and quality metrics.
Drive root cause problem solving and cross-functional alignment.
Support launches and configurations with production readiness.
Standardize processes and enhance ERP/MRP for visibility.
