Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Insurance Company, Inc. (CMIC) in Phoenix, AZ seeks a VP of Operations to oversee cross-functional operations, systems, and governance. The role focuses on scalable processes, P&L oversight, and a culture of accountability in a regulated environment.

The VP will drive integration of core systems (Dynamics 365, QuickBooks) and manage all facets of operations, including finance, IT, and vendor relationships, with limited travel for conferences and partner visits.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Experience managing/leading teams and developing people.
• Built operating systems and SOPs from scratch; project management experience.
• Exposure to accounting, audit and budgeting workstreams.
• Fluency with operating software systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and comfort building views, reports, and dashboards.
• Direct ownership of a P&L or operating budget.
• Experience in healthcare/long-term care or insurance.
• Experience building/managing customer service or call center functions.
• Experience as EOS Integrator.

Responsibilities

• Company-Wide Operational Excellence – build scalable systems and processes across the business and ensure adherence.
• Project Management & Accountability – translate strategy into implementation with clear ownership and deadlines.
• Leadership, People & Culture – maintain mission-driven culture while scaling; develop direct reports.
• Policyholder Conversion & Retention – collaborate to ensure customer success from sale to ongoing payments.
• Financial Stewardship – oversee budgeting and cashflow forecasting with CEO/finance.
• Accurate KPI & Financial Reporting – real-time KPI, P&L, cash flow reporting.
• Data & Systems – oversee integration and implementation of core tech (Dynamics 365, QuickBooks, ePayPolicy).
• Shared Services & External Vendor Management – manage internal/external relationships for finance, IT, HR, tax, audit, CRM.
