Job summary

Embarc Advisors seeks a VP of Operations to serve as the Founder/CEO's right hand and EOS Integrator. You will scale three businesses—M&A advisory, transaction diligence, and strategic CFO advisory—while maintaining a disciplined operating rhythm and data‑driven leadership.

You will own planning, budgeting, and KPIs, lead cross‑functional teams, and drive growth with AI/automation enhancements. This is a remote role with strong preference for proximity to the San Francisco Bay Area and

Qualifications

You are in the right seat (VP of Operations, Chief of Staff, GM or EOS Integrator) reporting to a founder/CEO.
Experience scaling professional services firms to 30–60+ people with measurable KPIs.
Own the forecast, budgets, capacity models and margins; fluent in P&L.
Demonstrated ability to lead high‑intensity, data‑driven decision making and accountability.
Proven entrepreneurial track record in founder‑led or high‑growth environments.

Responsibilities

Attend and lead leadership meetings; own operating rhythm within 30 days.
Develop and refine planning, capacity models and scorecards; align rocks with revenue goals.
Scale core systems: hiring, onboarding, HR, legal, IT, AI and automation; report weekly progress.
Drive 1-year and 3-year plans; identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven fixes.
Travel to Bay Area as needed; maintain strong remote collaboration with SF and near‑by teams.
