Job summary

Bishop-Wisecarver is seeking a hands-on, strategic VP of Operations to lead Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering, and to deliver operational excellence across the organization. This role focuses on improving today’s execution and building the foundation for BW’s next stage of growth.

The right candidate will have breadth across engineered products and the leadership to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Lean and continuous-improvement leadership.
• Experience across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and related functions.
• Strong business judgment with strategy over tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Excellence – improve productivity, flow, quality, cost and on-time delivery.
• Own Operational Performance – drive cost-center performance and BOM/routing integrity.
• Automate the Factory – implement practical automation with clear CapEx ROI and payback.
• Improve How We Build Products – connect Engineering and Manufacturing for manufacturability and VE.
• Strengthen Supply Chain & Working Capital – reduce single-source risk and improve inventory turns.
• Develop Our People – build leaders, develop talent, and create accountability.
• Build for Growth – scale systems, processes and operating discipline to support growth.
