Job summary

Trilon Group is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Development to lead acquisitions from first conversation through diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration. Based in Denver, CO, the role requires in-office presence and offers significant autonomy and visibility.

You will work with the executive team and lead Analysts and Associates while moving complex transactions forward to create long-term value.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or similar M&A.
• Proven track record of leading complex M&A transactions and coordinating major workstreams.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior decision-makers.
• Bachelor's degree with strong academic and professional performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3–5 acquisitions annually across full transaction lifecycle.
• Develop investment theses and evaluate strategic fit and value-creation.
• Direct modeling, valuation, deal structuring, and returns analysis.
• Oversee diligence across revenue, clients, and operations.
• Mentor Analysts and Associates and align with leadership.
• Present materials to Investment Committee.
