Trilon Group seeks a Vice President of Corporate Development to lead acquisitions from initial discussions through diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration. Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a similarly rigorous M&A environment.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior leaders.
• A bachelor's degree with a record of strong academic and professional performance.

Responsabilités

• Lead three to five acquisitions annually across the full transaction lifecycle.
• Develop investment theses and evaluate strategic fit, financial performance, growth potential, risks, and value-creation opportunities.
• Direct financial modeling, valuation, deal structuring, and returns analysis, providing clear recommendations to senior leadership and the Investment Committee.
• Lead financial and operational diligence across revenue, clients, projects, employees, leadership, market position, and other critical areas of the business.
• Build trusted relationships with founders, owners, and management teams while representing Trilon's partnership model.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and manage external legal, accounting, tax, insurance, market, and other transaction advisors.
• Prepare and present decision materials to Trilon's executive team and Investment Committee, clearly articulating the strategic rationale, economics, risks, and recommended path forward.
• Partner with regional and operating company leaders to align transaction decisions with business priorities and support a thoughtful transition into integration.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Analysts and Associates, setting clear expectations and raising the quality of analysis, judgment, and execution across the team.
