Job summary

EquiTrust seeks an Assistant Vice President, Innovation to lead and shape innovation initiatives in a primarily on-site West Des Moines setting. You will partner with business and technology leaders to explore emerging technologies and translate ideas into business value, driving customer experience improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems or related field.
• Certifications or coursework in human-centered design, change management, artificial intelligence, or related innovation disciplines preferred.
• 10+ years in innovation, strategy, digital transformation, or related fields.
• Experience leading innovation programs, technology pilots, or digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of innovation programs, pilots, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and business opportunities.
• Facilitate ideation, experimentation, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Develop innovation roadmaps with business and IT leaders.
• Explore emerging technologies including AI, analytics, automation, cloud platforms.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners.
• Establish and monitor innovation metrics for senior leadership.
