Job summary

Care New England Health System is seeking a Vice President, Human Resources at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of related HR leadership experience.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent senior HR certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior HR executive to operating unit President/COO and leadership team.
• Lead development and execution of people strategy aligned with system priorities.
• Represent HR on executive committees, labor-management councils, and governance forums.
• Champion culture, engagement, leadership development, and accountability.
• Oversee labor relations, collective bargaining preparation, and arbitration readiness.
• Advise on performance, disciplinary actions, and risk management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness with regulatory bodies.
• Lead HR operations including talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and workforce planning.
• Manage HR budget, metrics, and reporting; align unit needs with system initiatives.
