Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks an accomplished Vice President of Human Resources for Community Hospitals to provide executive leadership for all HR activities at the site level. You will partner with Community Hospital Presidents and senior leaders to shape workforce strategy, oversee HR operations, and guide culture and change management across multiple hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• Ten or more years of progressive HR leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior role in a community hospital or complex health system.
• Experience with large-scale transformation, mergers, acquisitions, or system integration with focus on culture and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive HR leadership and day-to-day oversight of site HR operations.
• Advises Community Hospital Presidents and senior leadership on human capital matters.
• Leads HRBP programs to align HR strategy with site goals.
• Onboards and assimilates senior leaders into complex organizations with culture guidance.
• Oversees Employee & Labor Relations and Leave Administration across the site.
• Collaborates with HR COEs to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Builds partnerships with site executives and COEs for consistent culture.
• Drives engagement, belonging, and leadership development.
• Leads organizational design, restructuring, and change management initiatives.
• Supports due diligence and workforce integration during mergers or affiliations.
