Job summary

UCHealth in Colorado seeks a visionary and results-driven Vice President, Facilities, Design and Construction to lead Facilities Management, Real Estate, and Construction across our campuses. This executive partner will ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service while delivering major expansions and capital programs.

The role is onsite with no remote option, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with Finance and Audit committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10-15+ years of experience in capital planning and project management, healthcare environment.
• Experience overseeing renovation and construction programs over $250,000,000 in a large, complex healthcare facility setting.
• Experience overseeing planning, design and construction projects with advanced knowledge of the design/construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead all UCHealth Facilities Management, Real Estate, Facilities Design and Construction.
• Develop and manage short-term and long-range capital plans and budgets.
• Oversee capital expenditures for construction and renovation of UCHealth facilities, infrastructure and real property.
• Manage a large real estate portfolio and ensure regulatory compliance and optimal space use.
• Direct design/construction processes, select teams, and supervise on-site construction activities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field

Master’s degree in appropriate field preferred
