Job summary

Green Key Resources LLC is seeking a Vice President of Fund Accounting to oversee the fund accounting operations for its private equity platform. You will lead a team of accounting professionals, maintain strong client relationships, and drive accurate and timely financial reporting.

The role requires private equity fund accounting experience, leadership, and deep knowledge of US GAAP, NAV calculations, and fund structures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in public accounting or private equity fund accounting.
• Leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of PE fund structures, waterfall calculations, carried interest, and US GAAP.
• Experience reviewing ledgers, fund financial statements, and NAV calculations.
• Strong client relationship management, communication, and project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or CPA designation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of fund accounting managers and staff.
• Oversee NAV calculations and fund accounting operations for PE funds.
• Review management fees, admin fees, carried interest, waterfall calculations and fund expenses.
• Manage capital activity, investor statements, financial reporting, and client deliverables.
• Serve as senior client contact, guiding accounting matters and service delivery.
• Coordinate financial statement audits and manage auditor relationships.
• Review LPAs and PPMs to ensure alignment with fund terms.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations, Tax, Waterfall, Financial Reporting, and Client Integration.
• Oversee onboarding of new clients and fund conversions; drive SLAs.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and technology initiatives to enhance efficiency.
