Job summary

Finatal, a fast-growing asset rental business, is seeking a VP Finance to lead the finance function and partner with ownership on strategic decision-making. You will build FP&A, oversee accounting, manage lenders, and drive KPI/BI reporting as the company scales.

You will own cash flow forecasting, capital deployment, and asset-based analytics, shaping pricing and returns while upgrading systems and controls in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in progressive finance with CFO potential.
• Experience in asset rental or capital-intensive sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of asset/unit economics including utilization, pricing, returns, depreciation and capital allocation.
• Strong FP&A and financial modeling capabilities including budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and cash flow management.
• Experience managing bank relationships, credit facilities, covenants, and lender reporting.
• Comfortable leading systems and process improvements within a growing organization.
• Commercially minded with ability to translate data into actionable business insight.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial profile in lean, fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the finance function and act as a strategic partner to ownership and the senior leadership team.
• Build FP&A capabilities across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis and performance management.
• Develop detailed financial analysis around asset utilization, pricing, returns, depreciation and capital deployment.
• Build KPI dashboards and reporting providing visibility into financial and operational performance.
• Own cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and capex tracking.
• Manage lender relationships, covenant compliance and credit facility requirements.
• Oversee accounting, close processes, controls and annual audit; manage outsourced accounting.
• Lead finance systems and KPI/BI reporting implementation.
• Partner with commercial/operational teams to drive data-driven decisions; scale finance org.
• Help build the broader finance organization as the company grows.
