Job summary

Tiny Health in Austin, TX is seeking a VP of Finance to own the finance function during a pivotal growth phase. You’ll establish the forecast-to-actual process, drive monthly business reviews, and guide capital allocation as the company scales toward Series B.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll hire and ramp a controller and FP&A analyst, partner with the CEO and COO, and implement a modern finance stack that supports rapid decision-making in a remote-first, North America-based team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance, including a senior FP&A or finance-leadership role.
• Own a monthly close end-to-end and know where closes break.
• Build driver-based forecast linking monthly actuals to full-year guidance and inputs like inventory.
• Evaluate and implement a financial systems stack and decide if new systems are warranted.
• Experience in a venture-backed, high-growth environment.
• Strong written communication: explain complex financial decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own a monthly forecast-to-actuals reconciliation and driver-based rolling forecast; tighten the close.
• Run a monthly business review with documented variances and actions.
• Evaluate, select, and implement the financial systems stack and plan the next annual cycle.
• Provide timely, accurate financial health information to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with Leadership to inform strategic growth and decisions.
• Hire and ramp a controller and an FP&A analyst, moving toward true financial partnership.
