Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a Vice President of Finance to oversee enterprise financial planning, reporting, revenue cycle, and treasury across the organization. You will lead a distributed team of 35–40 and work closely with the CFO and Board to align strategy with disciplined financial execution.

The role requires 12+ years in finance leadership, with at least 5 years in senior leadership across distributed operations, and strong experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership with enterprise-level scope.
• At least 5+ years in senior leadership overseeing distributed teams.
• Experience leading multi-entity finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience with Skilled Nursing Facility billing, Medicaid/Medicare, and multi-state operations preferred.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and complex strategic transactions.
• Executive communication to CFO/board and strong understanding of GAAP and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed accounting and revenue cycle function of 35–40 employees.
• Set direction, approve policy, allocate resources, and report to CFO and Board.
• Direct annual operating/capital budgeting and multiyear planning; manage forecasting.
• Oversee accounting operations: GL, consolidation, AP, closing processes.
• Interpret financial statements for Board, lenders, auditors, regulators, and leaders.
• Own internal control environment; manage external audit scope and remediation.
• Direct revenue cycle operations: billing, collections, receivables targets.
• Manage cash forecast, liquidity, banking relationships, and debt covenants.
• Oversee regulatory compliance across states and business lines.
• Present enterprise results and strategic recommendations to executives.
