Job summary

Tract Capital Management, LP in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead FP&A, cost management, and site controllership for its hyperscale data center platform. This role partners with senior management to guide planning, forecasting, capital allocation, and investment analysis across current and future projects.

You will build scalable financial processes, implement controls, and provide insights to the Investment Committee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience in large-scale infrastructure, energy, real estate, or data center investments; data center industry preferred.
• Proven success in FP&A, capital allocation, project cost management, and executive decision support.
• Strong understanding of large-scale infrastructure investment, project finance, construction cost governance, and operational finance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and operating in direct and dotted-line structures.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, ERP systems, reporting, and BI tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into strategic insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence senior leadership and investment committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, long-range plan, and forecasting processes for the data center platform.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and business modeling to support growth and capital allocation.
• Oversee cost forecasting across active and future data center projects.
• Establish and maintain financial controls, governance, and performance management across large-scale construction and operations.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, Procurement, Legal, Accounting, and Operations teams.
• Support major procurement and commercial decisions through benchmarking and cost analyses.
• Oversee tax incentives and abatements, including value in project underwriting.
• Strengthen finance systems, reporting, dashboards, and analytics for improved decision support.
• Drive process improvements and scaling of the finance organization.
