Job summary

SanMar Corp. in Issaquah, WA seeks a Vice President, Controller to lead Finance Operations, drive controls, and modernize the finance function for growth and complexity.

You will partner with the CFO and oversee Accounting, AP, AR, Payroll, and Banking Operations, while ensuring compliant, timely financial reporting. Ideal candidate has 12+ years' leadership in finance, CPA preferred, and experience with ERP modernization (Dynamics 365) and acquisitions integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive finance leadership in a large, complex org.
• Experience as VP of Finance, Controller, CAO, or senior Finance Operations leader.
• Proven ability to lead large multifunctional teams.
• Deep knowledge of financial reporting, US GAAP, internal controls, and end-to-end processes.
• Experience with ERP and finance tech modernization and acquisitions integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large Finance Operations organization.
• Set operating priorities, governance, service levels, and controls.
• Build scalable processes, systems, and leadership capabilities.
• Oversee Technical Accounting with escalation rights for material issues.
• Ensure timely, accurate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Oversee balance-sheet integrity, inventory and cash accounting.
• Promote use of BlackLine, Oracle EPM and other finance tech.
• Lead cross-functional finance transformation and data improvements.
• Partner with Technology on ERP and finance data integration.
• Serve as finance integration owner for acquisitions.
