Job summary

TailorCare, Inc. seeks a VP of Engineering to own three product engineering teams—data science, machine learning, and software engineering. You will drive outcomes, scale systems for patient engagement, and align technology with clinical goals.

You will partner with Product leadership to set the roadmap, guide architectural decisions, and ensure compliance with HIPAA/HITRST. A startup or scale-up background helps, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

12+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Own three product engineering teams spanning data science, ML, and software engineering; accountable for outcomes.
Own technology, data, and decisioning systems behind patient engagement and care activities.
Set engineering strategy and roadmap with Product and leaders; co-author operational goals with clinical leaders.
Partner with Product; PMs embedded in teams; final say on feasibility and sequencing.
Make tradeoffs with Product and operations; escalate to CTO when needed.
Hire, develop, and hold accountable directors and managers; grow first-time engineering leads.
Keep commitments with Product leadership; report delivery against roadmap to executives.
Set architecture for patient-facing and care-team systems; build-versus-buy decisions within scope.
Ensure HIPAA/HITRUST compliance with Security and Compliance.
