Job summary

Treasury Prime is hiring a Vice President of Engineering to lead software engineering, DevOps, and data, and to serve on our executive team reporting to the CEO. You’ll own how we build, ship, and run the platform banks and fintechs depend on every day.

This is a leadership role first. You’re technical and can go deep on architecture and tradeoffs with your team, but your job is building a strong team, setting clear direction, and keeping engineering closely tied to customers and the rest of the

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years leading engineering organizations through managers.
• Head of engineering experience with a seat on an executive or senior leadership team.
• Strong technical foundation in backend systems, APIs, and distributed architecture, plus experience leading DevOps or infrastructure and data teams (AWS).
• Track record of building teams and leading through constant change and innovation.
• Hands-on experience leading AI adoption with a clear view of where AI helps and where it doesn’t.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow engineers, DevOps, data, and our engineering manager; foster ownership and craft quality.
• Set direction by connecting engineering strategy to company goals and customer outcomes; improve planning and shipping.
• Keep customers at the center by aligning teams to customers’ problems and prioritizing value over requests.
• Build with AI by scaling complex, regulated financial workflows and evaluating models for cost and performance.
• Collaborate across the company as an executive team member; partner with VP of Product and other functions.
• Run a secure, regulated platform; guide architecture and own reliability, SOC 2 and PCI readiness.
