Job summary

EvolutionIQ is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to own outcomes across the engineering organization and build AI-native products for the insurance space. Based in NYC with in-office presence, you will lead cross-functional teams spanning SWE, ML/AI, and data to deliver high-impact results.

You will oversee architecture, CD infrastructure, and strategic roadmaps while partnering with CCC leadership. A background leading 100+ engineers, strong communication, and hiring excellence are

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience leading technical teams at VP level or equivalent.
• Experience managing ~100+ engineers with multiple layers of management.
• Hands-on, cross-functional leadership spanning SWE, ML/AI, and data.
• Track record recruiting senior ICs and engineering managers; build benches, not just fill seats.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical vision, architecture direction, and org structure for EIQ engineering.
• Partner with Product to execute the EIQ product roadmap across product lines.
• Hire, develop, and retain engineering talent from ICs to managers with a high bar.
• Build and maintain a reliable, high-quality continuous delivery infrastructure and culture.
