Job summary

Netris, Inc. in Santa Clara invites a Vice President of Engineering to scale software and the organization. You will lead an engineering team of 35–70 engineers across Silicon Valley, Armenia, and beyond, owning delivery, quality, and cadence.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape technical direction with Product Management and Architecture, build a world-class software organization, and drive engineering excellence while maintaining hands-on leadership in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Led software engineering organizations delivering complex infrastructure software.
• Experience leading multiple software engineering teams, engineering managers, and QA organizations.
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals and data center networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering organization of 35–70 engineers across Silicon Valley, Armenia, and worldwide.
• Own engineering execution, people leadership, delivery, quality, release cadence, and operations.
• Build and develop engineering managers and create an environment for engineers to excel.
• Drive predictable execution using Agile/Scrum, metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Establish a metrics-driven culture with QA automation and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with Architecture to translate strategy into high-quality software.
• Work with Product Management, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering and Support to turn feedback into product improvements.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent while scaling the org.
