You will provide technical leadership, develop and implement our engineering strategy, and oversee the entire engineering department. VP of Engineering Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the company's engineering strategy, aligning it with overarching business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage a talented team of engineers, including project managers, designers, and technical staff.
Oversee the complete lifecycle of engineering projects, from initial conceptualization through final design and installation.
Develop and manage the engineering department's budget, encompassing personnel costs, capital equipment, and software.
Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC systems, encompassing design, installation, and maintenance best practices.
Identify, evaluate, and champion new technologies to drive product innovation and enhance efficiency, ensuring our continued industry leadership.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless product development and implementation.
Ensure all engineering projects adhere to relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry codes.
Provide regular and insightful reports on the engineering department's performance to the CEO, board, and other key stakeholders.

VP of Engineering Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
10-15 years of progressive leadership experience within an engineering environment.
Refrigeration or HVAC and equipment design experience.
Strong business acumen with a proven ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
Exceptional presentation, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and build relationships at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
Highly self-motivated with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a track record of achieving positive outcomes.
Willingness to travel as required.
