Job summary

WinCo Foods seeks a Senior Director of Distribution to oversee warehouse and transportation operations across our nationwide network. You will drive efficiency, safety, and cost optimization while aligning with executive leadership on long-range distribution strategy and capital planning.

Responsibilities include leading multiple facilities, managing budgets and P&L, implementing automation and warehouse technologies, and ensuring regulatory compliance across states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or Retail Management.
• MBA preferred for senior leadership
• Experience with warehouse automation and supply chain software (WMS)

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operational and financial performance of Warehouse and Transportation.
• Develops and manages distribution budgets and KPIs.
• Leads and mentors distributed teams across multiple facilities.
• Drives automation initiatives, process improvements, and technology adoption.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Manages relationships with service providers and labor relations.
• Travel up to 50%.
