Job summary

Morrison Child and Family Services in Portland, OR, is seeking a relationship-centered and hands-on Vice President of Development to lead fundraising strategy and growth. You will work closely with the CEO and Board to expand annual philanthropic revenue from about $1 million toward $2 million or more over 3–5 years, building a scalable infrastructure and a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit fundraising.
• Seven+ years progressive nonprofit fundraising leadership.
• Experience in major gifts, donor cultivation, and portfolio management.
• Proven track record securing five- and six-figure gifts.
• Experience leading moves management, CRM utilization and forecasting.
• Strong supervisory and team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused fundraising strategy to grow annual revenue toward $2M+.
• Set priorities across major gifts, annual giving, foundations, corporate partnerships and events.
• Lead donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, appreciation and retention.
• Partner with CEO, Board, and staff to translate program priorities into funding opportunities.
