Tides in New York City or San Francisco, with hybrid work and remote options, seeks an entrepreneurial Vice President of Development to launch the organization’s first dedicated Development office.

You will design fundraising strategies, source and solicit gifts, and lead Gift Officers and Philanthropic Strategists while engaging the executive team and board.

The role emphasizes credibility with donors, building a scalable pipeline, and delivering credible progress as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years leading philanthropy or major gifts programs.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
• Experience with multi-entity nonprofit structures is a plus.
