Job summary

New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp is seeking an accomplished technology leader to advance our enterprise data environment, shaping the data strategy and multiyear roadmap for reporting, BI, automation, and governance. The VP Data Officer will guide architecture, platforms, and controls across analytics partners.

You will lead data engineering, governance, and cloud data platforms, fostering high-performing teams while partnering with technology, risk, and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Seven+ years of progressive leadership in enterprise data engineering, architecture, or governance.
• Experience building secure, scalable cloud data warehouses and lake environments.
• Snowflake experience and data platform implementations in regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set the enterprise data vision, standards, and roadmap for data engineering, architecture, integration, modeling, orchestration, testing, observability, and production support.
• Lead the design and evolution of secure, scalable cloud data warehouse and lake environments, balancing performance, reliability, interoperability, and cost.
• Establish practical governance for data quality, ownership, stewardship, metadata, lineage, access, privacy, retention, and change management.
• Build an effective operating model for data, prioritization, solution architecture, engineering delivery, support, and lifecycle management.
• Deliver trusted, documented data products that enable business intelligence and analytics teams to focus on insights and decision-making.
