Job summary

BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh seeks a Vice President to lead Data Management & Quantitative Analysis within our Data Solutions & Services team. The role drives metadata governance, data modeling, and strategic data initiatives across the enterprise.

You will partner with data owners, stewards, and IT to implement standards, manage lineage, and enable AI/ML outcomes while advancing the firm's data governance program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field, advanced degree preferred.
• 5–10 years in data modelling/warehousing with leadership experience.
• Experience in data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Familiarity with Agile methods and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure metadata quality, integrity, and governance across the data landscape.
• Define and maintain metadata standards to support governance and lineage.
• Develop a comprehensive metadata strategy aligned with data objectives.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and IT to gather requirements.
• Support metadata repositories and tools to capture and manage metadata.
