This role is based in Arlington, VA. On-site presence is required.

With a footprint across Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky, our client develops, constructs, and operates utility-scale solar energy projects. As a subsidiary of a publicly traded Israeli clean energy firm with over 1GW commissioned and a 7GW pipeline globally, the company is shaping the future of sustainable power in the U.S. and beyond.

We are hiring a VP of Construction to lead the full lifecycle of utility-scale solar projects. This Arlington-based role involves managing construction strategy and execution while building and mentoring a high-performing team. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, external vendors, and executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction and daily operations of utility-scale solar construction projects
• Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing construction management team
• Ensure all projects meet quality, safety, timeline, and budget expectations
• Oversee contract administration, change orders, forecasting, and documentation
• Align construction strategies with corporate objectives
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry and safety regulations
• Represent company interests with clients, contractors, and agencies

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in commercial or utility-scale construction
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong leadership and project oversight capabilities
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Arlington, VA; travel within the Mid-Atlantic expected
