Job summary

S. A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a VP of Design to provide nationwide managerial support to Sprinkler Designers.

The role focuses on growing sprinkler operations revenues while ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and NFPA compliance. The position reports to the VP of Engineering & Operations and collaborates with the design and blueprint teams. The role requires handling admin tasks, organization, reporting, data management, and high-level customer service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Construction design experience.
• 5+ years in a management position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field is required.
• Knowledge of NFPA guidelines is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoSprink, and HydraTec is a plus.
• Experience with Navisworks and Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the activities and performance of the Sprinkler Design Managers.
• Develop BIM standards for S.A. Comunale.
• Interface with Project Managers to review design vs. labor deficiencies.
• Schedule projects daily and set start/completion dates for designers.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of designs.
• Interface with client coordination for job specifics.
