VP of Business Development

Objective:
Global Technical Talent is searching for a VP of Business Development to expand our sales team with strategic and tactical responsibilities. Areas of focus will include strategy, process improvement, KPI, revenue attainment, and managing business development efforts for GTT's services direct with clients, through MSP/VMS partnerships, and for digital solutions/SOW business. Will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and mentoring a team of sales/account management professionals with P/L responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage a high-performing business development team
  • Responsible for hiring, mentoring, and overall performance of direct reports
  • Build, maintain and grow strategic partnerships with clients through a comprehensive understanding of the client's business
  • Generate new business and drive consultative sales process with targeted clients.
  • Become a trusted advisor to key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Gather project/role requirements from our clients and communicate them effectively to recruiting teams
  • Meet clients' needs in a timely and professional manner while complying with SLAs and contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate contract terms with new clients, including net payment, rates, and process
  • Refine existing marketing materials to directly target business development needs
  • Clearly communicate monthly initiative progress to internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience working in the staffing industry
  • Strong management skills, including hiring and leading sales/account management teams
  • Successful history of generating new business and revenue
  • Proven experience managing large, complex accounts in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to changing client needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including a strong and engaging phone presence and experience with client C-level decision-makers
  • Superior leadership, management, interpersonal, organizational, mentoring, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
