Job summary

Harris School Solutions seeks a Vice President of Research & Development to lead AI-driven product strategy and delivery across multiple K12 finance, HR, and admin platforms. You will guide AI-enabled capabilities, establish responsible AI governance, and manage both onsite and offshore teams while partnering with the FINS Enterprise Solutions group.

You will shape the AI roadmap, balance innovation with reliability, and drive collaboration across diverse offices and remote staff to accelerate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience leading software teams.
• P&L experience and budget discipline.
• Portfolio management of multiple products and tech stacks.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development and ML capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate business goals into actionable AI product roadmaps.
• Ensure on-time delivery and budget alignment for multiple projects.
• Drive adoption of AI developer tooling across teams.
• Lead AI-enabled product capabilities for K12 finance, HR, and admin workflows.
• Establish responsible AI practices including data privacy and governance.
• Communicate strategy and progress to executives and stakeholders.
