Job summary

BNY is seeking a Production Services Application Support professional for its Digital Asset Production Services team in New York. Design and implement observability strategies with Dynatrace, across applications, Kubernetes, and cloud services; build AI observability for AI apps, models, and dependencies.

Proactively monitor performance and reliability, and drive CI/CD integrations. You will leverage Java and Python, DevOps tooling, and database knowledge to deliver robust monitoring, tracing,

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or similar; 5+ years experience
• Strong Java (J2EE) and Python proficiency
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with relational/mongo databases (Oracle, MongoDB)
• Experience with Git and Agile development; testing frameworks like JUnit/Zephyr; security considerations for web apps
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Dynatrace observability across apps, infra, Kubernetes, DBs, and cloud services
• Develop AI observability for AI apps, models, agents, prompts, dependencies and health
• Implement distributed tracing and end-to-end monitoring to identify bottlenecks and dependencies
• Build Java and Python automation/integrations for Dynatrace onboarding, config, alerts, dashboards, CI/CD
• Evaluate Dynatrace AI capabilities and convey architecture recommendations to engineering teams
