Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University seeks a Vice President of Development, Alumni, and Community Engagement to unite philanthropy, alumni, and community efforts under one strategic agenda. You will shape major gifts programs, stewardship, and engagement, aligning them with SNHU’s mission and growth.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive data-informed decisions, and build lasting partnerships with donors, alumni, and community leaders to expand SNHU’s impact in Manchester and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in fundraising, advancement, development or related fields.
• Proven track record of closing significant philanthropic gifts and donor cultivation.
• Experience leading and developing diverse, multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop a unifying strategy across philanthropy, alumni engagement, and community engagement.
• Lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy including annual, major gifts and planned giving.
• Oversee advancement services: database management, gift processing, reporting.
