Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Vice President of Development, Alumni, and Community Engagement to unite philanthropy, alumni relations, and community initiatives under one strategic umbrella. You will build long-term donor relationships, lead major gifts, annual giving and grants, and guide a team of advancement professionals within the Office of External Affairs and Communications.

• Develop a unifying strategy across philanthropy, alumni engagement, and community engagement that reflects SNHU’s mission.
• Lead the development team to identify, cultivate, and secure philanthropic support for SNHU’s priorities.
• Provide strategic direction for donor relations, ensuring stewardship and meaningful recognition.
• Oversee a robust alumni engagement program with programs and events for lifelong relationships.
• Strengthen community partnerships and promote service-learning opportunities in NH and beyond.
• Oversee advancement services including database management, gift processing, and reporting.
• Build sustainable grant management processes to pursue external funding.
• Collaborate with university leadership to align advancement activities with strategic goals.
• Cultivate a diverse, high-performing advancement division with a mission-centered culture.

Education

Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, higher education administration, business, public administration, or a related field
