Job summary

Goldman Sachs Bank AG is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, build, and automate the firm’s global network infrastructure. You will work across perimeter, core, and remote office networks, leveraging cloud-based solutions to scale applications on demand.

The role requires expertise in PDLC, Infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD for IaC, and implementing Zero Trust with MFA for M365 services. You will lead automation efforts, monitor health, and coordinate with stakeholders to minimize

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field with 3 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field with 5 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience in full network Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) including requirements gathering, design, testing, integration, and support.
• Infrastructure-as-code knowledge.
• Using CI/CD techniques to treat infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Building and managing Zero Trust networks with identity verification and least privilege.

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise across all Network Engineering domains including perimeter-Internet and core networks.
• Oversee design and build of the firm’s network infrastructure with cloud-based solutions.
• Create automated networking processes, standards, and tools for smooth operation.
• Automate network provisioning and respond to problems in the firm’s infrastructure.
• Track and manage network connectivity health and ensure service reliability.
