Job summary

BlueCat Networks seeks a VP of Engineering, Network Observability to lead the engineering organization behind LiveAction. You will own the technical direction, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of a data‑intensive platform providing deep visibility into network health across data centers, campuses, WAN, cloud, and edge.

• Delivered AI capabilities for anomaly detection and predictive insights.
• Built and mentored large, geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Established development standards and processes across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering organization behind LiveAction, BlueCat's Network Observability product line.
• Own technical direction, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Product Management, Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Engage with enterprise and government accounts to understand requirements and priorities.
• Evolve code bases and plan retirement of technical debt.
