Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. seeks a VP Software Engineer to architect tokenization platforms across Global Banking & Markets in New York. You will lead multi-chain design, cross-network interoperability, and secure ledger workflows, using Canton/Daml and EVM toolchains.

You will partner with product, risk, and controls to translate regulatory needs into scalable production solutions, leveraging Java/TypeScript and event-driven architectures for enterprise-scale delivery.

Qualifications

Significant hands-on tokenization experience in a regulated enterprise.
Strong expertise in Canton and Daml smart-contract engineering.
Experience with multi-chain interoperability architectures and cross-chain patterns.
Deep capital-markets domain knowledge across asset classes.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement production-grade tokenization services and interoperability components.
Design multi-chain tokenization workflows across securities, funds, and digital cash.
Define secure cross-network transaction patterns and settlement coordination.
Model end-to-end asset lifecycles including issuance, custody, and reporting.
Establish engineering standards for testing, security, and observability.
