Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred
• Proven experience in ML, deep learning, and statistical modeling techniques (regression, time series, NLP, ensembles, neural networks)
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; hands-on with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Databricks)
• Knowledge of ML Ops, model governance, and lifecycle management best practices
• Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks and deliver measurable outcomes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the organization’s ML and modeling initiatives and develop an AI roadmap
• Oversee design, development, and validation of models supporting forecasting, risk, and efficiency improvements
• Ensure model governance, documentation, version control, validation, and performance monitoring
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary data science team and foster innovation
• Collaborate with business, IT, and analytics stakeholders to translate results into actionable insights for executives
• Stay at the forefront of AI technologies and promote experimentation and best practices
