Job summary

Vizient is seeking a senior data scientist to develop automated analytics products and perform advanced data analysis across multiple domains. You will design, implement, and deploy ML, NLP, and generative AI solutions, guiding fellow data scientists and delivering scalable analytics aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant analytics experience.
• Experience with agentic AI concepts and LLM-based workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, SAS, MATLAB, Java.
• Experience with end-to-end data science workflows from data prep to deployment.
• Experience with cloud-based and distributed data platforms and analytics frameworks.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, model governance, explainability, bias assessment, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced ML, generative AI, NLP, and statistical modeling across data sets.
• Build and deploy scalable, automated data science products and reusable analytic assets.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends and insights for business impact.
• Apply end-to-end data science workflows including data discovery, cleaning, modeling, deployment, and visualization.
• Translate findings into dashboards and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy and monitor ML/AI solutions.
