Job summary

PIMCO Ltd. - Pacific Investment Management Company seeks an experienced investment accounting professional to lead the Middle-Office Transformation (MOT) program.

You will design and deliver key accounting capabilities, guide processes, and serve as the central accounting contact for transformation and beyond. The role requires deep accounting expertise, leadership across front-to-back office stakeholders, and hands-on involvement in data, systems, and governance to drive high-quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance, or a related field.
• An MBA designation is desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in middle office IBOR accounting, fund administration and accounting, performance reporting, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income and derivative accounting.
• Exposure to equities, leveraged products, and other asset classes preferred.
• Experience leading major technical or system migrations or transformations involving third-party vendor solutions.
• Experience leveraging technology, AI, data, and automation to improve business outcomes.
• Experience partnering with technology teams to enhance systems or processes.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• CPA and/or CFA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define target state accounting needs and oversee program plan across Middle-Office transformation workstreams.
• Lead a team to assess current state vs. accounting needs and redesign processes.
• Serve as accounting SME and answer technical accounting questions.
• Produce executive-ready status reports and program metrics.
• Design and implement operational readiness assessments, UAT, and training activities.
