Job summary

Citi is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in messaging compliance technologies to design, implement, and manage Citi’s global electronic mail and instant message Regulatory Archive infrastructure with respect to Smarsh Enterprise Archive. The role collaborates with risk, legal, compliance, offshoring, data privacy and other Citi teams to meet SEC, FINRA, FCA, GDPR, CCPA and other requirements.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in engineering/deployment of electronic archive/messaging for large-scale environments.
• Experience testing and implementing regulatory archive and email/messaging solutions; ITIL/ITSM familiarity.
• Knowledge of SMTP RFC 5321/2822 and related protocols.
• Familiarity with Smarsh, Proofpoint, MS Exchange, and MS Teams.
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop new archive products and services worldwide.
• Negotiate with vendors on revisions, SOWs and SLAs to meet objectives.
• Define policies with Legal, Compliance, Risk and Data Privacy teams.
• Ensure compliant archiving, retention, supervision and controls across regions.
• Govern standards for compliance products and integrations into Citi production systems.
• Develop risk management plans aligning with Citi guidelines.
