Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking a high-impact Vice President, Media Technology Engineering to lead the engineering, implementation, and operational reliability of the technology environment supporting FOX News Media and Fox Television Stations.

This leader will oversee teams responsible for mission-critical infrastructure across broadcast, production, playout, master control, and digital media distribution, including SMPTE ST 2110 IP video systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent executive experience.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in media technology, broadcast engineering, enterprise infrastructure, or related environments.
• At least 5 years of senior leadership experience managing engineering or technology operations teams.
• Proven experience leading engineering implementation and operational support for large-scale broadcast or media technology environments.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and operating SMPTE ST 2110 uncompressed IP video production systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day engineering and operational support of mission-critical broadcast and media technology environments, ensuring 24/7/365 availability.
• Oversee SMPTE ST 2110 implementation, routing, timing, latency, and system interoperability.
• Direct WAN, LAN, routing, switching, QoS, multicast, and high-capacity media connectivity projects.
• Build disaster recovery, business continuity, redundancy, failover, and resiliency programs.
• Partner with PMO and Critical Response teams to deliver technology upgrades and migrations.
• Set KPIs for availability, reliability, capacity, latency, incident response, and recovery.
• Manage vendor relationships and service-level performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory and security alignment.
• Lead teams through complex technology transformations while maintaining stability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on strategy and execution.
