Job summary

Fox Corporation seeks a high-impact Vice President, Media Technology Engineering to lead engineering, implementation, and operational reliability for FOX News Media and Fox Television Stations. You will oversee teams responsible for critical infrastructure supporting news gathering, live broadcast, production, playout, master control, transmission, and digital media distribution.

The role drives SMPTE ST 2110 deployments, hybrid cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery, and incident response,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent executive experience.
15+ years in media technology, broadcast engineering, or enterprise infrastructure.
5+ years in senior leadership managing engineering/technology operations teams.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day engineering and operational support of mission-critical broadcast and media environments.
Ensure 24/7/365 availability, reliability, and operational readiness across platforms.
Lead SMPTE ST 2110 implementation and ensure interoperability with IP media facilities.
Oversee WAN/LAN, data centers, hybrid cloud, virtualization, compute, storage, and related platforms.
Implement disaster recovery, resiliency, and incident response programs.
Partner with PMO and Critical Response teams to deliver upgrades, migrations, and reliability improvements.
