Job summary

Fox Corporation seeks a senior Vice President of Media Technology to set strategic technology direction for broadcast and digital platforms. You will lead a cross‑functional team, drive cloud-first initiatives, ensure security and resiliency, and partner with stakeholders to align architecture with FOX’s goals.

The role requires 10+ years in broadcasting tech leadership, strong executive communication, and a proven track record of delivering complex, high‑impact technology programs for 24/7

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computing or engineering or related formal training.
• 10+ years in broadcasting operations and engineering management.
• Experience building teams and providing managerial oversight of technical departments.
• Experience evaluating, installing, and maintaining broadcasting equipment and IT systems.
• Executive-level communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience in administration of broadcast file workflows and playout systems.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud solutions and control room automation systems.
• Familiarity with FCC rules, OSHA regulations, and broadcast operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement strategic technology initiatives for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Supervise the Media Architecture, implementations, and multi‑platform content distribution.
• Lead a team of Media Solution Engineers to support modern broadcast technologies.
• Collaborate on architecture and workflow development for fast-paced content creation.
• Define secure network architectures and ensure policy compliance across FOX units.
• Develop a comprehensive network architecture framework focused on scalability and security.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement aligned with goals.
• Establish KPIs and optimize infrastructure performance; tune monitoring systems.
• Oversee project management, upgrades, expansions, and new integrations within budget.
• Prepare and manage the technical department budget, including capital budgets.
• Maintain documentation for networks, security, information, and broadcast infra.
• Promote adoption of new tools and methodologies; mentor cross‑functional teams.
• Align with broader media strategy and security policies across the org.
• Stay ahead of emerging tech trends while ensuring backward compatibility.
