Job summary

Geron Corporation in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ, is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead the US marketing function, drive market share growth, and accelerate physician adoption. You will translate corporate objectives into customer-focused strategies and serve on the Commercial Leadership Team.

The role reports to the EVP & Chief Commercial Officer, and requires strategic execution, cross-functional leadership, and hands-on collaboration in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
• Senior/executive level marketing leadership with hands-on commercial experience in hematology or oncology.
• Strong knowledge and relationships with top-tier US hematology opinion leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own brand performance and accountability for revenue, prescription, market share, and profitability objectives.
• Develop and execute strategies to accelerate product adoption and drive growth across targeted customer segments.
• Continuously assess performance against key metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results.
• Establish and execute a comprehensive brand strategy to differentiate the product and strengthen competitive positioning.
• Lead omnichannel promotional campaigns to drive physician engagement and prescribing behavior.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to align strategic objectives and field execution.
• Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure scientific differentiation and regulatory compliance.
• Work with Market Access to address reimbursement challenges and expand patient access.
