Job summary

Accordion Partners is seeking a Vice President in our Transactions group to lead and execute complex M&A projects focused on the CFO agenda and finance function. You will manage cross-functional teams across due diligence, integration planning and carve-out delivery, while developing synergy models and 100-day plans.

The role is based in New York or Dallas and offers hybrid work with two remote days per week. Strong leadership and communication are essential for client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in operational/commercial diligence, merger integration, carve-outs, or business transformation.
• Functional expertise across Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, HR, or Supply Chain.
• IMO/SMO/PMO experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Private industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead client teams on operational diligence, merger integration and carve-out initiatives.
• Develop 100-day plans, TSA and synergy models, and manage cross-functional workstreams.
• Coach consultants and manage project progress with executive reporting.
