Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Vice President, Client Processing Manager - Loans Enablement in Houston, TX. Lead a team delivering client processing across accounts, inquiries, and transactions while driving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience with 1–3 in management, plus syndicated loan know-how and proficiency in processing systems; advanced degrees preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management.
• Prior hands-on syndicated loan experience, familiarity with loans servicing, ClearPar, and LSTA preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex transaction processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency in transaction processing systems and a keen ability to leverage technology for process improvements.
• Experience in brokerage processing preferred.
• Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
• Prior loan operations experience in a financial service setting preferred.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and execute workload.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manages a medium to large-sized team or multiple small Client Processing teams.
• Supports client-centricity and operational efficiency by managing complex client processing tasks with precision.
• Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation to enhance client trust and satisfaction.
• Handles all aspects of client accounts, including solicitation, inquiries, transactional processing and problem resolution.
• Manages Client Processing activities through other managers or a large team of senior professionals.
• Serves as top-level support for external clients not resolved at a lower level.
• Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
• Identifies and implements process improvements to improve the experience for all stakeholders.
• Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their contribution and growth.
• Provides input into departmental budgets and planning.
• May develop business plans for team/group operations.
• Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
